Building a More Connected Authentic Local Natural Exciting Dover

Communitively is dedicated to creating a stronger, more connected Dover by supporting local businesses, enhancing public spaces, and developing experiences that encourage residents and visitors alike to explore, engage, and shop local.

Who We Are

Communitively is a Dover-based nonprofit organization focused on strengthening community connections, supporting local businesses, and helping create a vibrant and welcoming downtown experience for residents and visitors alike. We believe thriving communities are built through collaboration, creativity, and a shared sense of pride in the places we call home. By bringing together local businesses, organizations, volunteers, and community leaders, we work to create initiatives that have a lasting and meaningful impact on Dover.

Our organization leads and supports a wide variety of programs designed to celebrate and enhance the community. Through the Discover Dover NH platform, we showcase the people, places, events, and experiences that make Dover unique. Initiatives like Light Up Dover help beautify public spaces and create memorable experiences throughout the city, while programs such as our local business mentorship initiative provide support and guidance to entrepreneurs and small business owners looking to grow and succeed.

Communitively also develops and promotes community-centered events and shop local campaigns that encourage people to explore downtown Dover and support the local economy. From seasonal events like Spring Fling and Bouquet Walk to collaborative promotions such as First Fridays, our goal is to create experiences that bring energy, excitement, and opportunity to the community. Everything we do is rooted in a simple mission: helping Dover continue to thrive as a connected, vibrant, and inspiring place to live, work, and visit.
