Program: Dover Pumpkin Stroll

The Dover Pumpkin Stroll is a community celebration that transforms the Joe B. Parks Riverwalk Public Garden into a glowing fall experience filled with hundreds of carved pumpkins. Held in downtown Dover each October, the event invites residents and visitors to wander through the garden after dark and enjoy a creative display built by the community itself.

What makes the Pumpkin Stroll special is that everyone can be part of creating it. Community members, families, businesses, schools, and organizations are invited to carve pumpkins and contribute them to the display, turning hundreds of individual creations into one memorable experience for Dover to enjoy together.

The Dover Pumpkin Stroll is part of Communitively's ongoing effort to create fun, welcoming experiences that bring people downtown, encourage community participation, and make creative use of Dover's public spaces. By bringing neighbors together in the heart of the city, the stroll celebrates the creativity, connection, and community spirit that make Dover such a special place.
