Bringing Holiday Cheer to Dover
The Dover City Lights Committee is a volunteer group of dedicated community members working to make Dover shine brighter during the holiday season and beyond. In partnership with Communitively, the committee is raising funds for Phase One of a multi-year initiative. This includes decorating the community holiday tree; illuminating participating downtown buildings, the Joe B. Parks Garden and Waldron Court; and commissioning seasonal art murals for vacant storefronts.
These efforts, along with professional storefront décor, will create a warm and welcoming holiday atmosphere for all. Your donation directly helps create a brighter, more welcoming community that spreads cheer to residents and visitors alike. Let’s Light Up Dover together!

Community Donor Levels
- Twinkle Tier – $50: Adds sparkle to downtown windows.
- Sparkle Tier – $100: Helps decorate part of a building front.
- Shining Star Tier – $250: Sponsors holiday décor for one downtown building.
- Holiday Hero – $500+: Fully funds a complete decorating package for a downtown building.
- Other Amount: Every dollar helps brighten Dover, and all donations are welcome!

- Silver Bells – $1,000: Helps light multiple building fronts.
